After my appointment today I decided to go for a drive to Beavermouth. No animals on the move today and all was quiet. Only the signs that people were there with a lonely fire pit and a snowy picnic table.

Welcome to my web page I can’t wait for you to explore my images! I have always had an interest in photography, but I didn’t really start to until 2016 when I took a local course. From that day on my camera went off of AUTO mode to Manual mode and I have never looked back. My photography brings me balance and grounding from the everyday chaos. Looking through my lens brings a different perspective to explore. Speaking of exploring there is nothing more exciting than a road trip big or small because there is always something new to explore. I love to share the places I go, the animals I see and the events I cover. I am so blessed to be able to do what I do and be able to share. Enjoy!!!

I have been ignoring my website and haven’t really gotten into the blog thing, but I have seven days off of work and thought I would make a couple posts. After a recent upgrade in camera gear I have been thinking of upgrading to a couple different lenes. After ordering and receiving it last week I finally was able to get out and play yesterday. I decided to head to Westfraser Timber Park to see what I could find. Birds were quiet, but the touch of frost, snow and rendments of summer made lovely caputures for the day.

After a busy few months getting ready markets, Grinch/Santa photo fundraiser for a local animal sanctuary and custom product orders I was finally to make it to the last home game of the Quesnel River Rush. Great game between these two local teams.
Continue reading “A Busy November & December”We decided to go for a drive looking for wildlife that might be willing to pose for pics. Today my grouse friends were up for a photoshoot at least the Spruce Grouse did anyways. We ended up seeing new places and enjoyed the views.

It’s the little treasures not often seen.

When you get the notification that the northern lights probability is 100%. It was so worth the drive to find a spot to watch the show of dancing lights of colour. It always amazes me how much colour the camera does pick up with only a little editing. I even got to do a little bit of light painting of an old barn.

I visited Huble homestead a couple weeks ago, until recently I’ve never been there. Now it is one of my favourite places to stop and wander. I always find something different to look at. The first day I went it was pouring rain good thing I went out and got an umbrella that morning. On the drive-in I had some curious cows that looked like they wanted to say “hi.” It looks like the rain was not gonna let up for the day so hung out with the old farm machinery. As I was walking around the grounds making my way back to the car a small hawk flew over and took a look to see what I was. I decided to go back the next day as the weather had improved. It was so quiet. The sky was so moody. I’m so very glad I went back. Enjoy the step back into time.

Decided to stop by Hixon Falls the other day. It was overcast and was touch and go with rain. I was able to find some cool mushrooms growing on the trees as well as a few unexpected items. Enjoy!!!

During my couple days in Prince George. I was waiting to go for lunch and found super lovely McMillan Creek Fishing Park to explore. This was a super unexpected surprise. I was able to go down to the river and the signage explaining all the work that had gone into restoration of McMillan Creek. The graffiti and structures were great for pics. I will for sure go back and walk the river bank.

Another great game!! This was my second time hanging out on the bench taking images of all the action. Covering hockey has been a bit of a learning curve with the fast unpredictable action and inside lighting. As I learn more about the game it will become easier to predict where I need to catch the great shots. As with all my events I love to be a fly on the wall catching the emotion and the story that goes along with the action. Check out the the attached link to see the complete collection of images for the evening. Enjoy!! https://www.flickr.com/gp/200165068@N04/C8qc0s3y78

I was able to attend last nights KIJHL Junior A hockey game between the Quesnel River Rush and the Osoyoos Coyotes. I totally love the banter sitting on the bench and watching all the heart these young men have for hockey. This pic has become one of my favourites after a brief look through the over 1400 snaps for the evening. Stay tuned for more images of the game.

Well I decided to create a web page. How hard can it be the advertising said it was easy. Okay, not so much bare with me as I figure out how this all works. Hopefully I will be able to add some images soon.
